Lecturer in Quantitative Criminology, School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University. I use network science, demography, & social statistics (capture-recapture sampling designs; survey science; panel research designs; statistical computing) to study the dynamics within criminal networks.

GROUP BOUNDARIES ===== For instance, one persistent challenge in network science, generally, concerns the boundary specification problem in group detection. For criminal networks, network science can help us detect cohesive groups inside criminal organizations or detect patterns in the noise which emerges through police investigations (surveillance, wiretaps, etc.).
